larger image 		The condensate collector adapter is intended to protect heating mantles from condensation on the outside of reflux condensers due to excessive room humidity. This adapter was designed by David L. Allen to be placed between the reflux condenser and the flask neck. The condensate runs off the condenser into the adapter cup and is diverted to a drain via the hose connection.
